C3 Ortho has been founded in early August 2021 to initiate the start-up and assist in the development of a new ceramic ball-head company for hip implants (New Opco).

• C3 Ortho is the brainchild of an extraordinary skilled group of professionals with more than 120 years of experience in the global health care market and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the production and distribution of ceramic ball–heads.
• C3 Ortho will bring its proven knowhow pertaining to product, production and marketing and its extensive contact network to orthopedic companies and end-users (surgeons) to bear all of which are critical to overcome the high barriers to market entry.
• As comprehensive advisor to New Opco and on New Opco´s behalf, C3 Ortho will begin marketing activities in early 2022, design and organize the building of one of the world´s most modern and fully automated production facility in 2023 and get New Opco to deliver ceramic ball heads to the market in 2024.
• From 2026 onwards production and distribution of New Opco will have increased to approx. 600.000 pieces giving New Opco a solid number two position in the global market of ceramic ball-heads.
